Seiji Motoyama is a music producer/songwriter with a long history of work in New York and Japan. Born and raised in New York, in New York he produced songs for Select Records and Strictly Rhythm Records and worked as an engineer for various artists including Guy (Teddy Riley), Cyndi Lauper, The Cardigans and Keith Sweat. In Japan he has written and produced for many Jpop artists including Chemistry, Kuraki Mai, The Gospellers, Lead, and WEST. (Johnny’s West). He has worked with artists from Korea, Taiwan, China and Malaysia as well. He has also written English lyrics for many different projects including Eric Martin (from Mr. Big), Nick Carter (from The Backstreet Boys), and “Cry No More”, the ending theme from the internationally distributed Japanese movie “Shizumanu Taiyo (The Unbroken)”.
